Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Appian Developer/Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions using the Appian BPM Suite. You will play a crucial role in supporting Appian modernization efforts, corporate growth initiatives, and on-program implementation projects. Your responsibilities will include engaging with client organizations, managing stakeholders, developing strategic visions and roadmaps, and providing technical oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop technical solutions on the Appian BPM Suite based on gathered requirements.
- Architect, design, configure, develop, troubleshoot, and implement baseline and custom applications on the Appian platform.
- Engage with client organizations, manage key stakeholders, and foster relationships to understand enterprise needs deeply.
- Create vision, strategy, and roadmaps to lead Appian adoption and modernization efforts.
- Implement and manage modernization journey while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and industry best practices.
- Serve as the primary technological point of contact, overseeing architecture and construction efforts.
- Develop governance processes, lead technical resources, mitigate risks, and monitor quality and security.
- Participate in technology evaluations, proofs of concept, client demonstrations, and solutioning presentations.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, business stakeholders, technical teams, and contractors to develop requirements and mission outcomes.
- Resolve program issues, answer questions, and prescribe solutions for leadership, staff, and contractors.
- Author documentation, briefings, SLAs, and technical standards for architectural runway.
- Coordinate with other architects and technical leadership to ensure alignment across program teams.
- Engage with diverse organizations, industry partners, and clients during business acquisition and capture activities.
- Produce technical solutions with detailed narratives for proposal development and procurement phases.
- Provide solution architecture, design documentation, code development, and system integration for new and existing applications.
- Analyze requirements, maintain, test, and integrate plug-ins and custom application components.
- Participate in formal technology evaluations, proofs of concept, and R&D activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Years of experience in designing and developing technical solutions on the Appian BPM Suite.
- Experience in Appian modernization, corporate growth, and on-program implementation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, IT landscapes, and technology specifications.
- Proven track record of leading assessments, target technology specifications, and multi-phased migration deliveries.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Certifications in Appian BPM preferred.
- Knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with software development methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
